I collected old Korean photographs that made in the late 19th and early 20th from foreign museums and libraries. It was interesting to explore the hidden history and ideology of the photo images made in Modernization era:Colonialism and Westernization.
I disassembled and recombined images made in a different time and spaces to create new old Korean portraits.
